This Acceptable Use Policy applies to everyone who uses CoStartups (costartups.app). It forms part of our Terms of Service. By using the platform, you agree to follow it.

CoStartups is built for founders, engineers, and operators working in AI. You should:

• Provide accurate profile and registration information
• Engage professionally and respectfully with other members
• Share content you have the right to publish
• Use the platform for legitimate networking, hiring, and collaboration
• Report behaviour that violates this policy

You must not:

• Post false, misleading, or defamatory content
• Harass, threaten, bully, or discriminate against other users
• Scrape, crawl, or bulk-export data without written permission
• Upload malware, attempt unauthorised access, or disrupt the service
• Use CoStartups for unsolicited spam, phishing, or deceptive outreach
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation or credentials
• Infringe intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights of others
• Post illegal content or use the service for any unlawful purpose under UK law
• Create multiple accounts to evade enforcement or mislead the community
• Share another member's private contact details without consent

Posts, comments, profile text, and images must be appropriate for a professional network. Do not post confidential information you are not permitted to share, non-consensual intimate imagery, or content that exploits or endangers others.

We may remove content that violates this policy or our Terms, with or without notice, where necessary to protect users or the platform.

If you breach this policy, we may warn you, remove content, restrict features, suspend your account, or terminate your access. We may act without prior notice where there is immediate risk to users, the platform, or legal compliance.

Repeated or serious violations may result in permanent removal from CoStartups.

To report content or behaviour that violates this policy, email legal@costartups.app with a link to the profile or post and a brief description. We review reports and take action where appropriate.

We may update this policy when our community standards or the law change. The current version is always published on this page with the date above. Continued use of CoStartups after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
